Totana hosted on Saturday 8 December the seventh Judo Tournament in City Totana cadet who since 2011 has the level of Supercopa of Spain.
Only Madrid and Vigo tournaments at this level throughout the country.
This tournament is already a classic in the national scene and takes place thanks to the excellent relations that exist between the Sports Department of the City of Totana, Murcia Federation and the Royal Spanish Judo Federation.
The Super Cup was played, without interruption, from half past nine until five in the afternoon in the pavilion Manolo Ibáñez Totana.
It involved a total of 288 judokas who represented all the Autonomous Communities of the Spanish territory.
All these together with coaches, delegates and family stayed in hotels and neighboring Totana crowding the steps of the pavilion.
Immediately after the awards ceremony, the Royal Spanish Judo Federation awarded the medal sport at Miñarro Francisco Ramirez, chief of sports Totana, in recognition of his outstanding merits and his valuable collaboration.
The medal was given by the President of the Judo Federation Murciana Alejandro Martinez Del Pozo, Serafin Aragüete representative of the Spanish Federation and Francisco Ramirez Miñarro representative of the Department of Sports.
Immediately following the tournament, the organization received many congratulations from delegates of the different Autonomous Communities.
These have an added value due to the complexity of the tournament which requires, among other things, to work simultaneously with five mats.
Athletes of the Region of Murcia had a discreet performance garnering two medals against the four last year.
Specifically, Cristina Perez Roe (-70 kg.) And Adrian Square Pegueroles (-90 kg.) Won bronze.
