The Association "Salus Infirmorum" launches a school of learning in palliative care in order to provide training tools to people that are related to this policy area.
This training will start during the month of November and will run until June 2013 in the parish of Santiago with the development of a monthly lecture given by a skilled artisan.
Interested parties may participate in this project in two ways: either attend a special way to talk or get a diploma attesting that have participated in the training.
The Councillor for Social Care, Maria Josefa Sanchez thanked the challenge of this association by improving training for people who care for sick or working in this area of ​​activity.
He stressed the commitment by the City to continue investing in the work of associations like this that include performances with overall benefits for the population.
Meanwhile, both the teacher responsible for coordinating the program, José María García, as the president of the Association, Joaquina Lucerga, explained the importance of knowing in depth all issues related to palliative care.
So, indicated that during this formative period interested persons may extend knowledge from experts such as doctors, therapists, lawyers, social workers, psychologists, etc..
