The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, together with the Councillor for Sports, Bartholomew Pallarés, and members of the government team, and responsible for the concessionaire, opened officially to the public reopening of the Sports Center Indoor Pool Heated that from now run by the company "VIP ANG Sport Health and Leisure, SL (MOVE)".
Over three hundred people attended the opening ceremony which featured an open house and activities for children and displays of different sports that can be performed at the center.
Attendees checked firsthand the improvements already made by the company as the extension of the gym, spinning room, actions to improve existing ones, an activity room in the basement directed, daycare for children of users and computers in the weight room.
During the opening ceremony, the mayor acknowledged the commitment of this company, totanera hundred percent in a quantitative way to improve the services provided from a municipal facility.
He also thanked the commercial confidence in the renewal of almost all workers who previously worked in the facility to hire them again.
The indoor pool is in operation, with all their activities, since last Monday September 3 after the new contract last July to said merchant, who during the month of August has designed and undertaken improvement works.
Since opening its doors, the facility has received the registration of more than one thousand subscribers for all kinds of sport facilities.
The new service will be awarded to the next 15 years after the previous contractor in April rescinded by mutual agreement, the contract for the provision of that service.
The current agreement states that the new concessionaire undertakes an initial investment within 15 months of 420,532 euros for the implementation of refurbishment of the infrastructure, some of which have been undertaken in recent weeks.
