On Saturday August 25 returned from Poland, the 24-member club of Totana hiker who visited for 8 days its corners natural, cultural and historical, more emblematic

On day 18, the transfers were made for both air and road to reach the town of Zakopane mountain resort enclave located very close to the border with Slovakia, staying for 4 nights in a cozy and friendly hostel, called Stara Polana .

On the second day, and mountaineer of all, we visited the Lake Morskie Oko, which in Polish means ... "Eye of the Sea" and enjoy an impressive and majestic landscapes, filled with coniferous forests and mountain lakes , all crowned by the highest peaks of the Tatra Mountains, including Mount Rishi noteworthy, with its 2497 meters above sea level, stands as the highest mountain in this lush Central Cordillera.

Until this summit, managed to reach seven hikers club members, but not before having to overcome more than 1,500 meters of vertical climb and there are areas in the vicinity of the summit.

On Monday 19th after enjoying an unforgettable view on the ascent to the hill of Rosdie through a cable car that exceeds 1110 meters of altitude, you walk back to the city of Zakopane, visiting on the way many mountain lakes, forests impenetrable and tens of kilometers roads paved with wisdom and skill by the locals.

After two long days the third day mountaineering down the Dunajec river canyon.

For 18 unforgettable kilometers, the members of this trip on wooden rafts crossed a spectacular stretch of this mighty river crossing a long natural gorge flanked by high walls and unspoiled nature.

On Wednesday 22, was visiting the Auswist extermination camp, a journey through the recent history where perpetrated much of the Holocaust to the Jewish race, a place that has rocked all who visit and more palpable with cruelty that sometimes men have acted throughout history.

The last days of the trip trascurrieron in the city of Krakow, enjoying the old town, Jewish quarter and sucking his corner to corner the history of this ancient Polish city and its culture and cuisine.

The week concluded with a visit to the salt mines, huge maze of more than 300 kilometers of underground galleries, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1950
