The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, recently met with the Minister of Health and Social Policy, Maria Angeles Palacios, to address the development, maintenance and continuity of some cooperation agreements between both governments to maintain social services and programs that are rendered in that municipality.
The meeting was also attended by the councilors of Social Care and Citizen Participation, Maria Josefa Sanchez and Health, Women and Consumption, Eulalia, Sandoval, who reviewed the claims for social needs and problems, the emergence of new social resources and economic hardship for funding for some social services.
The mayor informed the health minister that is effecting the transfer of the work of the new Health Centre "Totana South" to the new joint venture which is awarded "2008-Albaida Servimar Infrastructure, SA" now assumes the implementation of project, which has to be completed early in early 2013.
In the coming weeks, will begin the fitting and clearing environment to streamline the company continued work performances and crafts.
The Health Center "Totana-South" will have 17 general practices, five consultations of Pediatrics, two dental offices, a multipurpose room, extraction queries, priests, medicine less, a query to care for women, more maintenance units, personnel, administration, among other agencies.
In addition, reviewed the development of actions relating to Primary Care Services 2012, which claimed responsibility for the maintenance of certain conventions such as social service centers, home care, reinforcement of professionals to care for dependent and support program for social inclusion, which will decrease in all cases the budget.
