The Local Government Committee has approved the draft agreement to be signed with the Development Agency of Murcia to work on achieving the distinction to the town of Totana as "Township Entrepreneur".
The Councillor for Productive Sectors, Development and Employment, Mary Jose Baeza, explained that, thanks to the signing of this agreement with the INFO, will intensify the collaboration of separate entities in order to achieve this accreditation supports the overall work is performed by the City Council for the promotion of entrepreneurial culture in order to generate more employment in the municipality.
In this regard, he indicated that many of the guidelines included in the agreement are already underway such as training, awareness, bonuses to employers, among other things.
Baeza explained that this collaboration will implement measures that contribute positively to the creation of companies, reducing bureaucracy by promoting the "Paperless Council", the land development business, the implementation of incentives to encourage this creation and consolidation of existing companies.
Implementation of business related to the potential of the municipality
With this agreement, are included measures to promote entrepreneurship through education by highlighting the role of employer and generator of wealth for society.
Furthermore, it will launch actions to encourage the creation of companies related to the major business potential in the municipality as tourism to the archaeological site of La Bastida, traditional trades and crafts pottery town, food, table grapes, adventure sports, etc.
Among other actions, promote the establishment of support aimed at encouraging housing in the "business incubator" located in the Industrial Park "The Saladar" for what will promote the adoption of agreements to facilitate the accommodation of entrepreneurs and new initiatives in this place.
Baeza, however, has indicated that implementation of this agreement, which includes more than forty specific initiatives, will allow the recovery of businesses in the area by providing real and effective tools that are necessary for the enhancement of business in the locality.
