This past Saturday, May 26, closed the workshop PADISITO Emotional Support Parents this association has been developing over the past two months.
This program has been funded by FEAPS Murcia, the federation that encompasses most of the mentally handicapped associations in the region, and the foundation bbk, and given the opportunity to develop a series of workshops for parents and mothers of people with intellectual disabilities in this association have been able to share experiences, questions, solutions related to certain behaviors that occur regularly on disability, and in general, has created a relaxed atmosphere between strengthening parents more if be the feelings of unity and group cohesion.
Particular have been a group of ten parents who participated in this activity and its various workshops have included the screening of films related to disability, certain issues have been dealt with behavior modification and legal issues of special interest for this group.
PADISITO This activity aims to contribute a little to improve the quality of life of the group and their families and with the program of leisure to be completed next week, closing spring activities, to begin preparing the activities that take place next summer, such as respite care and camp.
