A total of 19 users of the Municipal Psychosocial Support classes have resumed their cooking workshop conducted as part of the programming of this resource during the remaining period 2012.
This activity is included within the global program called "Basic Training in Instrumental Activities of daily living."
The overall objective pursued is to provide users with mental health diagnosis in practical skills that have to do with promoting a more independent at home, in terms of task organization, cleaning and domestic hygiene, management appliances and kitchen utensils, shopping and financial management of the products needed, etc..
In general it is to gain experience in tasks that prevent family unit and that these people benefit when considering an independent future.
Another important aspect that works is the addition of healthy eating habits and hygienic habits in the use of the material handling and cooking and food products.
Overall this is one of the workshops more practical and useful in the daily life of the participants, and, above all, this is an enjoyable activity and motivating for our users, and having fun while learning and encourages the ability to develop roles in the family.
Also in Psychosocial Support Service will complement this workshop with other planned activities having to do with the proper performance of domestic skills, and are already working in your organization responsible for the service.
