Parents of schoolchildren in the town off into the "Prevention of risks at home" thanks to the program of "Municipal School of Parents" promoted by the departments of Social Care and Education.
This talk, conducted by the municipal technical Occupational Health and Safety, Mari Carmen Egea, took place in the Sociocultural Center Jail.
It became known where and why accidents occur at home and had an impact on how the adoption of simple habits can help to reduce them.
Among them, the technician said it's important to periodically check the wiring of the house, to ensure that this is in good condition to avoid electric shock or fire.
Furthermore, care must be taken with carpets, as they can be an obstacle when walking, and also protect those windows that are less than one meter from the ground using appropriate defenses to prevent the fall of persons, among other things.
