II Ascent Sima "Cabezo de la Jara"

First race of 2012 for the CAT in Puerto Lumbreras.

On the morning of day 8 CAT sport made its debut in 2012 with the Second Ascent Sima "head of the Jara" in the town of Puerto Lumbreras.

A career that consisted of a 13 km long distance chopping up.

Three methods were run, mountain bike, hiking and running, being in the latter where the CAT was represented by 10 riders.

At 10.30 came out in the latter mode, running the first 7 km stretch of promenade, moving later sections of trail and finally the last 3 km forest track, which eventually would be the hardest of being the largest drop, down to the Sima de la Jara Cabezo which was located on arrival.

Afterwards, the riders had to race off at another 4 km until you reach the collection point for the buses, being moved to a hostel located in the area, which offered a lunch and took the trophy and raffle gifts.

On this occasion there was no classification of times, but we can say that the performance of athletes in the Athletic Club Totana, as has always been high on them as usual, these being: Fugencio Gallardo, Nacho Campos, Eusebio Martinez, Jose Martinez Ballester, José Sáez, Juan Jose Robles, Eduardo Lucas, Anthony Lucas, Juan Manuel Vazquez and Fran North.
