A total of eight rural drivers belonging to the municipal company "Special Employment Centre Totana" (CEDET) have been working already for a month in the patrolling and surveillance in the field of Totana, in coordination with local police and Civil Guard in order to tighten control on rural roads and prevent theft and livestock farms in the municipality.
The drivers, whose service was officially launched at the last Advisory Council Agricultural and Livestock have received training from a company that specializes in monitoring approved by the Ministry of Interior and reinforce the work of the guard taking place in different rural areas totanera councils.
The watchmen are providing service with a vehicle and thereafter, shall be carried out with two other cars that have been acquired more recently, second hand, and that will be used to patrol rural areas.
Support vehicles are equipped with radio direct connection to the local police Totana, flashlights long range load on the vehicle and satellite control system.
Also, the drivers, which will provide the service by turns, each have a mobile phone available with a number of agricultural organizations and cooperatives Totana and representatives of the Agricultural Advisory Council.
Similarly, CEDET intends to continue training professionals in this field that gradually come to reinforce the control and monitoring service rural.
Totana City Council and the three agricultural organizations represented in this town (COAG-IR, ASAJA and UPA) agreed last October to allocate the full collection of Property Tax rustic nature to increase surveillance and security services in rural campaigns to coincide with seasonal crops.
