A total of 27 walkers took part Sunday in the route organized by the Sports Department in the County of El Raiguero, with a distance of 12 km and a duration of five hours with stops including, according to sources from the municipal department.
On this occasion, the route started from the Chapel of The Spider, the deputation from Raiguero, and after passing by the place of the "Stone of the Dead", the walkers reached the Rambla del Puntarrón.
The day was dreary and threatened rain climatologically, but fortunately no rain, yet for most of the way a heavy fog prevented the group observe the landscape, and only in the last section, we could enjoy the views on the environment Espuña Regional Park, the beaches of Mazarron and Carrascoy.
The first part of the journey was by road, past old farmhouses, now abandoned, and before reaching the Collado de Perpignan, climbed into the watershed in the Loma de Aguaderas.
After climbing to the peak of the flag or Rallero peak, it was back to the Chapel of the Spider assuming finished the route.
