Students in the Classroom Occupational Municipal Service depends on the Prevention and Control of Truancy Department of Education have received a training workshop on health education regarding the prevention of HIV / AIDS, other sexually transmitted infections sexual AIDS and unwanted pregnancies.
This workshop has been developed by two teachers of the Youth Council of Murcia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health.
The workshop, four hours long and has been of great interest to students, has revolved around information on how to transfer and spread of this disease, your symptoms, how AIDS spreads, how to prevent , how do you know if you are infected, information about contraception, among other issues related to these contents.
At the same time, students have envisioned various documentaries that have provided a more complete discussion of these issues.
The Occupational Hall, which is a measure of compensatory education, was launched through a collaboration agreement with the Ministry of Education and its main objective is to provide pre-employment skills students cooking and baking them liaise in order to pursue an Initial Professional Qualification Programme.
In addition, during this course, the Hall is attached to the IES Occupational Juan de la Cierva, and currently has 13 students from the institute, the IES Prado and Reina Sofia Mayor.
For the organization of this workshop has enjoyed the cooperation of the Municipal Drug Addiction Services of the Department of Social Welfare.
