The Councillor responsible for the area of ​​Development and Employment, Mary Jose Baeza, explained that one of the top concerns of the government team is the unemployment situation in the municipality and the development of trust for the entrepreneur to invest in Totana and thus contribute to the commitment to hiring.

Baeza recalled that since the Local Government should encourage the generation of confidence in the productive sectors to revive the economy and thus promote employment contracts.

For this reason, it is implementing a unique program dedicated to specialization and expansion of training aimed at different groups in which there has been much effort and dedication to offer a program suited to the needs of each person.

Courses and training programs

For over the last quarter of the year, has targeted the mayor, have planned a series of free courses that were started last week with the development of two workshops on using new technologies and companies in which more a hundred people.

These courses are completely free and can be taught in the Local Development Centre, with a minimum of 15 people registered.

In this regard, he stated that it is working jointly with the Department of Agriculture to provide the resources needed to continue training with the specialization of farmers to provide a more competitive product in Europe.
