On Saturday evening, July 23, framed within the sports program of the Festival of Santiago, was held in municipal sports facilities "December 6," a new edition of the Combined Events Championships, organized by the CAT Totana with the collaboration of the Sports Department.
Starting at 18pm and for more than two hours, the participating athletes were competing in the categories of shot put and javelin, high jump and length and speed (200 meters and 1000 meters).
In the shot put was won by the athlete Cayuela Alfonso Hermoso, who scored the best throw in 12.03 meters.
After this test took place the high jump, winning the victory Juan Mario Molina, a jump of 1.45 meters.
In the penalty rate of 200 meters also won first place Juan Mario Molina, as in the javelin, setting a best throw of 33.10 meters.
Static long jump got the first position José Luis Peris, with a wave of 2.40.
To finish in the mile test again the first position Juan Mario Molina.
After that the winner of the combined tests was Juan Mario with 9 points.
Cayuela Alfonso followed with 14 points and Jose Luis Peris third place with 17 points.
The trophy for the Best Runner went to Juan Mario.
Trophy for Best Pitcher Fulgencio Garcia received it while the trophy for the best jumpers went to Julian Mendez.
The awards ceremony was conducted by the President of CAT Totana, José Espejo and Sports Councillor Bartholomew Pallares.
At the final testing is complete, all participants received a commemorative shirt and could regain strength with solid and liquid refreshment prepared by the Club.
