Participants of the workshop actively seeking employment, developed by the project "Labor, a step towards the employability", visited the offices of the multinational staff "IKEA" to see first hand the situation on the labor market.
With this visit, the "Labor" puts an end to the formations made from this project, which closed its doors after four years of actions aimed at improving the employability of groups with greater difficulties in entering the labor market.
The aim of this visit, which was made possible thanks to support from the Social Welfare Department of the City of Totana and the collaboration of the company IKEA has been to see first hand, by the department responsible for personnel recruitment Human of the company, Pedro López, what are the basic qualities that are expected to selecting the staff of this institution.
With a tour through the history and philosophy of IKEA, the seventeen participants in this workshop, accompanied by the training manager Esther Lorente and Education Survey, Ascension Tudela, have known the company's policies regarding the selection staff, mechanisms for requesting access to the same basic skills as well as the staff expected candidate.
