The registration period for partiicpar in the IV national photo contest "Fotoespuña 2011", organized by the Commonwealth Tourism Services Espuña ends next April 30.
This competition has been launched to disseminate the excellent tourist themselves as environmental and natural, as both the Regional Park of the municipalities Aledo, Alhama de Murcia, Mula, Pliego and Totana found to coat Espuña .
Similarly, we intend to sensitize the population and visitors about the natural values, ecological and landscape by enacting sustainable tourism awareness among all those who enjoy this area and raise awareness through this kind of territory that make up the natural environment, landscapes, adventure sports, traditions and heritage that can be covered by the photographs.
The competition, which has been submitted by the President of the Commonwealth and the Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, tries to make visitors and residents of Sierra Espuña and their peoples, a discussion on the conservation of its natural environment of great beauty and biodiversity.
Therefore, through photography, the Commonwealth Tourism Espuña the value placed on natural and cultural landscape of the region of Sierra Espuña, leading in each of the photographs to the interpretation and enjoyment of the landscape in its broadest sense.
The thematic categories are down "Photography Espuña destination advertising," "Sports and sustainability in the" Way of Water "," historic and artistic heritage and traditions of the peoples of the Sierra (Aledo, Alhama de Murcia, Mula Pliego and Totana), with a total of 3,150 euros in prize money distributed in these categories.
This contest is open to anyone, amateur or professional photographer, to visit Sierra Espuña and its municipalities and to accept the terms of this competition and the type of presentation will be on-line through the web fotoespuña.com before April 30.
