More than 170 school children from all schools participated in the conference "Playing athletics", part of the school sports program, which took place on Saturday 12 March at the Municipal Sports Pavilion Manolo Ibáñez.
The councilman of Youth, Juan Antonio Ambit Pividal, was responsible for handing over the first three finishers in each of the categories.
The top finishers were: Jonathan Noel Campbell (Reina Sofia), in male youngest category, María López Pérez (La Milagrosa) in female baby, Edwin Fernando Chimbo (Reina Sofia), in juvenile male, and Virginia Lopez Munuera in juvenile category female.
The top-ranked schools in this local stage will have the opportunity to participate in the Regional Final Playing Athletics, organized by the Directorate General of Sports, Sports Program in School Age, the next on 23 and 30 March, Abarán and Librilla respectively.
