Totana consumers have today received information about their rights and obligations through the Mobile Information Point installed on the Avenue de la Rambla de La Santa on the occasion of the commemoration of "World Consumer Day, held on Tuesday 15 March.
The councilman of Consumption, María Isabel Sánchez, visited this morning the PIM installed through the Municipal Office of Consumer Information, in order to bring the OMIC consumers and users of the municipality, as indicated by the mayor.
Throughout the morning hours has proceeded to the distribution of leaflets, brochures, guides, calendars and other promotional materials with which citizens can learn and disseminate the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, by different administrations consumption, consumers and users of the site.
In addition, during the morning, the campaign has continued to collect signatures to be considered the power consumption for the purposes of VAT as a supply of staples established 8 percent and not 16, as set up now.
The mayor explained that citizens can not afford a new rise in electricity bills and this product of vital importance to all Spanish, and in just one year has risen by 20 percent and it seems that it will rise again 12 percent.
