Finish work on the third phase of the sewerage network of El Paretón-Cantareros, who have received an investment of close to 450,000 euros, with improvements including, submitted by the Local Investment Fund for Sustainability, which have improved Wastewater collection of about 100 houses in different villages of the lower part of the hamlet.

The works, which have completed construction of the impeller of the water, have been visited this morning by the Councillor for Planning and Sustainable Development, María José Bedia, Councilman Comprehensive Maintenance Services and the City, Sergio Lopez, the village headman, Thomas Walls, and Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo.

The mayor of Planning explained that the work has involved the construction of two pipes, a collection and a drive towards the central collector of the parish, through which allows all the collected water can be purified in municipal station.

Martínez Andreo has agreed to include a provision for the 2011 municipal budget to implement the fourth phase of the sewerage network of this parish, through which it will get almost one hundred percent of the sewage in the district .

Thus, Martínez Andreo recalled that since the beginning of the term, unlike other municipal governments, from which he presides has long valued the improvement of services in the parish and have done performances in all areas, cultural, educational, health, sports and services, as is the work being done.

Water purification, agriculture improvement

The mayor explained that through the implementation of the sewerage network in this area is a clear commitment to the optimization of water resources and is getting nearly one hundred percent of the wastewater is used for irrigation agriculture after purification.

In this sense, Martínez Andreo pointed out that it's leading the expansion of the sewage and soon will begin work on the new collector-Lebor Totana South.
