Almost two dozen cyclists took part on Sunday February 6 in the first route, including the mountain bike program 2011, organized by the Department of Sports City of Totana and has the support of the Sports Association Rock Nine .
The route began at nine o'clock from the side of the municipal park and ran along the old railway line that links Totana to Cartagena and Mazarrón and whose work was never completed in its entirety, but the layout allows cycling.
Part of the route matches one of the sections of the Paths of Vera Cruz Caravaca and future greenway.
On this tour we found a peculiar building that has stood the test of time and is the station of Paretón, which never saw the passage of any train.
Taking advantage of proximity to the route, the cyclists who participated in the route, made a stop to replace force with the hot spring is in the Rambla del Saladillo to restart the route after passing near the mines of Mazarrón and end in Nice to Bolnuevo City.
The following route will be on Sunday 13 March and continue through Sunwell with a total of 46 kilometers and an average difficulty.
