Totana City Council has fitted adjacent areas of the chapel of The Spider in the hamlet of Raiguero to turn the area into a recreational area where residents can enjoy barbecues that have been built.
Many people attended the opening ceremony of these spaces that now that can make recreational retreats and meets a demand by the locals.
The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, along with the mayor of the City Comprehensive Maintenance, Sergio Lopez, most municipal authorities and the village headman, Julián Muñoz, symbolically inaugurated the first lighting a barbecue.
The works, which have been carried out directly by the technicians of the Department of Comprehensive Maintenance of the City, through which it has installed a network of pipes and a source-sink, have a total budget of 2,800 euros.
During the ceremony, the mayor reminded residents that the City Council has been trying to meet the demands of higher priority neighborhood and has made great efforts for this area of the hamlet of Raiguero not be forgotten and become a more where they remember and commemorate the traditions of the municipality.
