Totana Municipal Library has been awarded in the Thirteenth Edition of Project Contest Reading Promotion "María Moliner".

This award, which consists of 200 books for children and youth, has been granted by the Ministry of Culture, through the Secretariat thanks to the collaboration with the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces and the Coca-Cola Foundation Juan Manuel Sáinz Vicuña.

This project aims to encourage the implementation of projects to encourage reading in towns of fewer than 50,000 inhabitants, in order to reward the projects being developed or already under way with lots of books that form part of the relevant municipal libraries.

For its part, Councillor for Culture, Esther Martinez Esparza, explained that this award recognizes the dedication to programming, promotion and dissemination activities to encourage reading that from the municipal library is being carried out, for several years, which is the sixth time Totana Municipal Library received this award.

However, we invite all citizens to use and enjoy all its services for free.
