The Councillor for Agriculture, John Pagan, has visited the most affected crops by frost these days are produced in the Shire of Guadalentín and damaged the crops of vegetables and fruits in the town of Totana.
The mayor has met with farmers and officials of the three agricultural unions, UPA, COAG-IR and BDA, to analyze which were the worst affected areas which have suffered especially artichokes, zucchini, and some crops table grapes.
Pagan, who has visited any of the areas that have seen Totana part of their crops have been lost after the frost has reached out to farmers to opt for measures to help fruit and vegetable producers.
