The Department of Women and Equal Opportunities and Adipsai-Murcia on Friday held a talk on the Socio-Cultural Center Jail in which they put on the table the needs of victims of gender violence.
The talk was presented by Councilwoman Women and Equal Opportunities, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, and moderated by Bethlehem Muniz.
The audience could hear the doctor's intervention in Political Science and Administration, José Rodríguez, and lawyer, María del Miguel Solis.
This was followed by a round table attended by, besides the speakers, the president of the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users "Three Hail Marys," Julia de la Peña, and the psychologist of the Association Adipsia-RM , Mari Carmen Sanchez Cayuela.
This talk, according to the Intercultural Social Mediation Service has been planned with the objective to improve awareness, visible and create conditions of equality between men and women to prevent gender violence.
Also during the months of November and December, coinciding with the commemoration of International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, are conducting workshops on prevention in schools in Totana and a training course on equality, co-education and stewardship.
