More than 140 children from different schools in the county have participated in project activities "Búrlalas" to encourage the prevention of drug addiction, especially among youth in this age group.
This project developed by the Department of Health and sponsored by the Department of Social Welfare Totana City Council aims to develop positive habits and behaviors of drug prevention.
The activities took place in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, in the framework of the "Make sports, make health 2010" and had a turnout of 140 children from different schools in the locality.
These activities included the installation of a basketball net for young people to dunk the ball with alcoves simulation goggles (goggles that simulate the effects of alcohol and other drugs).
Traveling In the Booth showed new ways to enjoy their leisure (young) and free time without having to use drugs, or frequent environments linked to them, through games, interactive multimedia resources.
They were also handed out the cards Cd Consalud and free courses of the portal e-drug (Course accreditation of health interest and college credit), and various leaflets and brochures e-drug website of the Ministry of Health.
Of note is the positive reception this initiative has been part of those responsible for schools in the town, having claimed its reissue by the same next year.
