The Association of Physically Handicapped Totana-MIFITO participated on Saturday November 20th along with other youth organizations in the activities that the youth of the town council organized for this day commemorating the Rights of the Child.
The event was held at the Place de la Balsa Vieja and activities took place from 11:00 am until 13:00 pm.
MIFITO Association collaborated with an activity called "Workshop of the Senses."
The children had to overcome some tests using only their sense of smell and touch.
This activity apart from having a recreational purpose, also sought to turn the little ones awareness of the difficulties involved in having a disability in which the person is deprived of any meaningful sense as sight.
Throughout the day attended by many children who enjoyed a wide variety of activities that both our organization and the other associations had organized for that day with the support of the Youth Council.
