The Councillor for Education, Trini Cayuela, the director of Occupational Safety and Health of the Autonomous Community, Tomas Perez, and the Director of Business Area UCOMUR, Sebastian Peñaranda, presented the sixth consecutive edition of the "Increased security, where This year over 400 students from 5 th grade of all primary schools in the municipality.
The campaign "Grow in Security" is aimed at raising awareness, promotion and dissemination of prevention of occupational risks in a local primary school, as explained by the mayor, who recalled that the City has been developing year after year, "aware of the important and necessary work of educating in the prevention culture, because without doubt the most effective way to create safe habits and patterns, acquired from the earliest ages."
The City Council since 2004, year after year, recalled the Councillor for Education, launched the campaign "Security Grows" in a local primary school with the aim of bringing the prevention of occupational risks at early ages.
This year in particular, is aimed at students studying in Primary 5 °.
It is spreading preventive culture, knowledge of business risks and prevention.
For the development of this campaign, with the participation of prevention professionals, who will travel to schools in the municipality during the school year 2010/2011.
Among the activities included in this campaign, will be given lectures and teaching materials will be distributed folders, CD's with games on the prevention and talks to the AMPAS, and "Drawing Contest" which consists of two phases: the first municipal and the second regional.
The contest will be following the development of the talks and awards for the first stage of the competition will be a digital camera, an MP4 and a lot books.
In the second phase, the awards consist of a bicycle, PSP and Nintendo DS.
The deadline for receipt of the drawings is open until 28 February.
Therefore, the mayor encouraged the entire school community, parents and students to "learn by playing the security issues in a pleasant, fun and appropriate for the youth of the town" through the teaching material delivered.
Finally, Trini Cayuela stressed that the Security Grows campaign is made possible thanks to funding from the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health in collaboration with the Union of Cooperatives (UCOMUR), and stressed the importance of bringing to the classroom to prevent healthy living and preventive care, thanks for the cooperation of all schools in the locality.
For its part, the general director of Occupational Safety and Health has emphasized the importance of launching this campaign because, in this way, is undeterred small accidents among children.

Also, Perez has encouraged families and the educational community in the municipality to support the prevention campaign, because "only through education can we ensure that children are aware of the risks posed by actions that they are normal, but can cause serious health problem. "
