The Department of Social Welfare, in collaboration with the Board of the Municipal Center Senior Plaza Balsa Vieja, has reported that the outputs are still being organized for the elderly.
Last October 14 was out a trip to the Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar, with the participation of 54 members of the Centre.
During the day visited the Parque Natural de las Salinas, where they saw the multitude of flamingos and birds of various types who live for this time of year in the salt ponds, the sand, the typical plants, dunes and beaches of the place, apply where the famous mud, with plenty of properties that are highly beneficial to health.
They also had the opportunity to see the operation of the salt company that acts as a means of sustainability of the Natural Park, as the exploitation of the salt allows the plants and birds inhabiting this ecosystem remain in place.
The day ended with a meal at a local restaurant.
Centro users also participated in the trip to Cantabria held in the middle of last September with a large number of participants, as were 116 people that visited the typical places of the area as Cabárceno Park, the Monastery Santo Toribio, Bárcena Mayor, Picos de Europa, Potes, Santander, Palacio de la Magdalena, Santillana del Mar, among other places.
