More than 2,000 users of the Municipal Center Senior Totana tear the 2010/2011 academic year with the commemoration of International Day of Older Persons, whose actions take place on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 October.
Events and training and recreational programming of the Centre, were presented this morning by the councilman of Social Welfare, Juan Carrion, along with members who manage the Senior Center, with its president at the helm, Vicentina Legaz.
The mayor pointed out that Welfare Center Totana is a Senior centers of reference in the region of Murcia because they are 2,140 members who enjoy more than 30 activities, courses and trips, which are driven by the Department the hand of the partners.
Thus, the partners held their General Assembly on Friday October 1 at 10:30 pm in the auditorium of the Municipal Center, located in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja and end with a great chocolate.
On Saturday October 2 Mass will be celebrated the traditional opening of the course at the Sanctuary of Santa Eulalia at 11:00 hours, for which a bus will leave from the door of the church of Santiago at 10:15 am.
The president of the Municipal Center has encouraged all those who wish to participate in the acts they do and enjoy the journey of living in La Santa.
Moreover, as explained by the president of the Center, the day will continue with a food-coexistence in the Picnic "Angel."
