Local Employment Center for Women and Youth of the City of Totana reports that as of September 1 deadline for opening the recognition of professional competence through work experience or non-formal training in Early Childhood Education health and social care to people dependent on social institutions and social and health care to people at home (PEAR), as published in the BORM of 22/07/2010.

Until now, the professional competence of a person is credited only when formally had acquired through his tenure, mainly due to the educational system.

The accreditation was going through a title awarded by the Administration that meant the only instrument certifying the professional competence accepted by all.

At present, from all sectors are aware that competition and learning, besides being acquired in formal, can do so through other means, scheduled and non-formal, and of course through work experience .

Thus, according to reports from the Local Employment Centre sets up a procedure whose validity is applicable to the entire national territory and, through the relationship established with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) will facilitate mobility of European citizens throughout the territory of the Union, given the transparency that gives the adoption of equivalences and relations between systems of qualifications from different countries in such an environment.

Therefore, all persons wishing to participate in the proceedings shall meet the completion date for submission of applications, and maintain until the end of it, the following requirements:

a) have the Spanish nationality, having obtained the certificate of registration of community citizenship or family card citizen of the Union, or hold a residence permit or residence and work in Spain in force in the terms established by Spanish legislation on aliens and immigration.

b) Have completed at the time of enrollment:

- 19 years for units of competency level II qualifications, under the provisions of the third transitional provision of Royal Decree 1224/2009, of July 17, the recognition of skills acquired through work experience.

- And 20 years for units of competency in Level III skills.

c) Have experience and / or training related to the units of competence are to demonstrate:

c.1) In the case of work experience: Justify, within the last 10 years before making the call, at least 3 years experience with a minimum of 2,000 hours worked in total.

c.2) For training: Justify, in the last 10 years before making the call, at least 300 hours of training.

In cases in which the training modules associated with the unit of competition is to demonstrate contemplate a shorter duration, it must certify the hours set in these modules.

The deadline for conducting the registration shall be as follows for each of the qualifications:

- Health and social care to people dependent on social institutions: 1 to September 30, 2010, inclusive.

- Childhood Education: 1 to October 31, 2010, inclusive.

- Health and social care to people at home: 1 to November 30, 2010, inclusive.
