The Councils of Services to the City and Traffic, at the request of the Local Police Headquarters, has undertaken several changes in circulation in different streets of the San Francisco neighborhood, following the installation of new horizontal and vertical signage, in order to improve road and traffic safety in this area of the urban area.

During these days operators of the Department of City Services have proceeded to the installation of new signage that will adjust and regulate the direction of traffic on some roads after a technical study undertaken by the Local Police, as reported by the mayor Víctor Balsas .

The councilor recalled that these works come to respond to a proposal made by those responsible for the City Council in 2004 and notes that although it is a neighborhood that initially had a certain residential character, the circulation of the same is has been increased by the opening of other roads as a result of the urban growth coming or in the direction of the urbanization "La Ramblica".

This situation has caused not only the decrease of parking spaces in the area but also the danger of these roads as a result of the increase in the number of vehicles that circulate through them, says Balsas.

For this reason, it has proceeded, at the request of the technical reports of the Local Police, a regulation of vehicle traffic on the roads between the streets San Francisco de Asís, Minister Fernandez Ordóñez, Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente and San Antonio .

In this way, for a better ordering of the circulation of vehicles through the affected roads, and that the impact of use for the neighbors be less, it is recommended to continue with the unique senses of the urbanization road "La Ramblica".

For its part, the roads near this area, ie the streets San Francisco de Asis, Minister Fernandez Ordóñez, Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente and San Antonio have to continue with the current double sense of circulation that currently has, and what are the access, exit and change of meaning of the aforementioned neighborhood and population.

To make this regulation effective, the Department of Services is placing 10 road markings of CEDA EL PASO and a STOP road marking, as well as 25 directional arrows on the road, 10 bands by means of stop heels, among other signs.
