Families interested in registering their sons and daughters in the project of work and family reconciliation "Holidays 3.0.

Edition School of Holy Week'2018 ", which promotes the Collective for Social Promotion" El Candil ", can do it from tomorrow, March 14, at the Sociocultural Center" La ¨Carcel ", until they cover 30 places offered.

The Councilor for Youth, Inmaculada Blázquez, and the representative of the "El Candil" Collective, Alba Cánovas Martínez, presented this initiative that is carried out under a collaboration agreement between both entities.

Edition School of Holy Week 2018 "will be held during the next days 26, 27, 28 March, and 2 and 3 April, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

and it is aimed at children enrolled in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3-6 years) or Primary Education (6-12 years), in the CEIP "Santiago".

"El Candil" has organized a wide range of activities so that the participating children can enjoy their vacations in a playful environment, so that sports and outdoor activities, educational reinforcement, crafts and creative expression workshops will be carried out, screening of films and games and value activities.

The activities are adapted to the level of the participants and their tastes;

and the registration fee for this program amounts to 35 euros.

Youth Councilor explained that this project is organized again in the face of the need to enable the development of leisure time activities during the school holiday period aimed especially at children and young people of the municipality, facilitating on the other hand parents and mothers conciliation between work, family and personal life in these holiday seasons.

The Department of Youth wants to promote the maintenance of these programs to promote the development of playful alternatives, which is combined at the same time an educational process of children.

In this sense, the City Council is committed to provide the necessary technical support and infrastructure by the Youth Councils and Citizen Participation for the development of the activities derived from the project;

and will collaborate in the cleaning expenses and with a maximum contribution of 500 euros to finance expenses of carrying out the activities.
