The CEIP "Comarcal Deitania" was third, in the juvenile category;
while, in open, the IES "Prado Mayor" finished in second place, and the CEIP "Santa Eulalia", third
The facilities of the Petanque Club "Santa Eulalia" of Totana hosted on Saturday February 24 the Regional Final of School Sports Petanque, organized by the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia and the Department of Sports of this town, in the first place in the juvenile category of the "Santa Eulalia" School in Totana stood out.
In the competition, a total of 11 teams participated in the alevín and open categories, from Alhama, Murcia and Totana.
In the juvenile category, the champion team was the CEIP "Santa Eulalia" of Totana, while the "San Pablo" School of Murcia was second and the "Comarcal Deitania" of Totana, was third classified.
As for the open category, the IES "Miguel Hernández" of Alhama de Murcia was the champion, while the IES "Prado Mayor" of Totana finished in second place, and the "Santa Eulalia" School of Totana third.
The competition concluded with the delivery of trophies and medals to the first three teams classified in each category, by Juan Llor Moreno, representative of the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia;
Isabel Molino López, Councilor for Sports of the City of Totana;
and Antonio Soriano González, president of the Pétanque Federation of the Region of Murcia.
