The II Obstacle Race "Hispanian Race" will be held on the 3rd and 4th of March in the Sports City "Valverde Reina", with the organization of three different modalities and numerous novelties in the circuits of the circuits proposed by the organization.
The Councilor for Sports, Isabel María Molino, and the president of the Hispanian Sports Club, Bartolomé Rodríguez Valenzuela, promoter and promoter of the event, presented it officially and gave an account of all the technical characteristics and objectives of the event.
The second edition has three modalities: "Hispanian Coliseum", non-competitive and introductory course to obstacle courses (one kilometer and 20 obstacles, "Hispanian Falcata" (five kilometers and 35 obstacles) and "Hispanian Reina" (ten kilometers and 40 obstacles), that will be developed in the spot of the Strip of the Canvas, with numerous ascents, descents and ravines.
In addition, the test has a strong spirit of solidarity, since, as in the last edition, solidarity tents will be installed in the esplanade of the Sports City for associations Peluquines Alhama, Spanish Association for the Fight against Cancer (AECC), Padisito and Region of Murcia Clean.
The race "Hispanitos Race Junior" is the children's modality of the race, with three modalities of 100 meters (4-6 years), 150 meters (7-9 years) and 300 meters (10-13 years);
and the benefits will be donated in full to the associations of rare diseases D'Genes and Aelip, respectively.
All participants will receive their medal, bag and T-shirt;
and three winners are established, in male and female category, in the modalities "Falcata" and "Reina".
Every fifteen minutes there will be a round of participants so that there are no crowds in the obstacles;
and the elite group sets the obligation to overcome each obstacle while the popular one does not need to overcome it.
More than 30 teams have already registered (more than five participants) and more than 60 percent of the registrations are athletes from outside Totana, being some of the provinces of Albacete, Alicante and Almeria.
The president of the Club Deportivo Hispanian, Bartolomé Rodríguez, thanked the invaluable collaboration of the hundred companies that will make possible, one more year, this test, as well as the figure of volunteering involved in it;
and announced that there are already almost 500 registered in the competition, whose registration period ends next February 28.
