The Department of Culture of the totanero City Council will grant an economic subsidy to the Illustrious Superior Council of Processions of Totana for a total amount of 8,000 euros to defray part of the expenses incurred in carrying out activities carried out within the program of Holy Week of the year 2017
The Local Government Board recently gave the green light to the proposal of the Councilor for Culture, Eulalia Moreno, responding to the request of this entity, which attached a detailed report of all the processions and cultural events held during the mentioned exercise, as well as an economic summary of the expenses incurred.
The totanero Consistory will proceed to the granting of this aid considering the cultural interest of said event, and bearing in mind that Holy Week of Totana is declared as a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest.
In addition, it is one of the most participative events in the municipality and that most reports to the social and cultural dynamization of Totana.
