The Musical Association of Totana, with the collaboration of the Department of Education, will organize next Tuesday, December 19, a didactic concert aimed at students of 4 ° of Primary Education of all schools in this town, in the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel ", in order to encourage the approach of schoolchildren to musical initiation in a fun and close way.
The councilor of the branch, Eulalia Moreno, the vice president of the Musical Association, Blasi Montes, and the professor and member of this entity, Pedro Marín, promoter of the project, presented this pedagogical initiative, in which more than 400 students from the schools of Totana, El Paretón and Lébor.
The activity will be held in two passes, at 9:30 and 11:30 hours, respectively, with about 200 children in each of these;
and arises from the need to create a didactic concert in which the students and musicians of the Band of the Musical Group, directed by Pedro Martínez Sánchez, interact directly and experientially.
With this one it is tried to promote active attitudes looking for experiences of initiation to the music and approaching them to the musical culture, according to their promoters explained.
In addition, its development is supported by a theatricalized story, which is entitled "Polo in the adventure of the musical archipelago", and which is made by Professor Pedro Marín under the project "The sounds that speak", which was approved by the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts of the Region of Murcia (ICA).
Through this theatrical story, the protagonist will meet famous musicians who must complete missions through musical activities, and that allows students to enter a plot that brings them through musicians to this cultural field of musical initiation .
The promoters thanked the schools their degree of acceptance in the project and the Department of Education their willingness to make it come true in a dynamic and relaxed way.
