The City of Totana has received today's authorization for the use of fires destined to the elaboration of typical dishes coinciding with the pilgrimages of Santa Eulalia of tomorrow, December 8 and Saturday, January 13, respectively, as reported by the Councilor for the Environment, Antonia Camacho.
The Directorate General of the Environment of the Ministry of Environment has informed the Consistory totanero the permission for the lighting of fires to prepare the typical dishes planned for this Friday, December 8, from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
and on Saturday, January 13, from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm on the occasion of both pilgrimages.
The use of vegetable and gaseous fuel has been authorized for the lighting of fires, taking place in recreational areas where there are fixed and permanent infrastructures specially enabled for this purpose.
The fires with vegetal fuel will be carried out exclusively in fixed and permanent infrastructures especially for that purpose (barbecues), being expressly forbidden their realization outside of them.
The ignition of fires with gaseous fuel may be carried out on the entire surface of the recreational areas.
The displaced environmental agents will also report on the ideal areas to make gas fire, according to the bounded areas.
