The morning of December 6 took place the thirtieth edition of the popular Day of the Constitution in which a fortnight of members of the Totana Athletics Club participated.
The absolute race had a distance of 5,000 meters, the athletes had to go three laps to a circuit characterized by various ups and downs.
The race began at 10:00 am with start and finish in the Sports pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez".
The winner of the race was the athlete from La Mancha Gabriel García, the first totanero to arrive was Raúl Cifuentes, 4th overall and 1st in the M35 Veterans category with a time of 15 minutes and 33 seconds.
The next CAT athlete was Carlos Ballester 14 overall and 3rd in M40 veterans with a time of 16 minutes and 55 seconds.
Moments later Hipólito Alcaraz and Juan Mario Molina entered, 20 and 21 of the general and 5º and 7º in the categories Veterano M35 and Senior respectively, both with a chrono of 17 minutes and 35 seconds that was worth to them to enter between the five better premises.
Highlight the remarkable female presence of CAT athletes in this race, being 60%.
They entered the goal in a group led by Rut Cánovas with a time of 30 minutes and 47 seconds, followed by Inocencia Casanova, Noemí Tudela, María José García, María Teresa Barceló, María Encarnación García, Paula Pérez and Aida Cano.
