Firefighters of the Totana-Alhama park will promote the First Food Collection Campaign under the title "Exchange of illusions", which will be held on Sunday, December 3, at the facilities of the "El Saladar" industrial estate in Totana, with the collaboration of the Totanero Consistory and the Fire and Rescue Consortium of the Region of Murcia (CEIS).
The Councilor for Emergencies and Public Safety, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, and the firefighters Eladio Baños and Salvador Seguí, have presented this novel initiative which aims to enable children to visit first hand the facilities and the work they do. the professionals of this Body in exchange for a contribution of non-perishable food.
The collection of these foods will go to the different organizations of Cáritas in the municipalities of the area of ​​influence of the park, in this case, the terms of Totana, Alhama de Murcia, Librilla, Mazarrón and Fuente Ãlamo.
Children can enjoy during the day of the five stations scheduled in a circuit, in which the participants will carry out prevention activities, they will be able to wear the different costumes and professional suits, they will perform a gymkhana, they will attend a talk about rescues and traffic accidents and they will be mounted on the vehicles arranged for the occasion.
Visits will be made in three shifts during this day (from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. and from 12:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) in order that the circuit will be perform in an orderly and safe way;

The program of open doors in the facilities that the Consortium currently has in Balsón de Guillén street, 6 of the industrial park, includes an exhibition of firefighting equipment, workshops for children, space "FotoHéroe" (phototocall), videos demonstrations and demonstrations of maneuvers, among other activities.
The initiative will involve the involvement of a total of 25 firefighters of the Consortium, of which the total of 16 of the staff of the Totana-Alhama park will meet in this interesting solidary and formative cause.
