The Plenary Session of the Totana City Council will debate tomorrow, starting at 7:00 p.m., in ordinary session corresponding to the month of November, the joint motion of the three municipal groups and the non-attached councilor on support to the agricultural sector and sustainability of the Tajo aqueduct -Safe.
In addition, the Mayor's motion will be addressed to the allegations presented during the public presentation of the initial approval of the 2017 municipal general budget.
Precisely, the Board of Spokesmen of the City of Totana agreed last week to advance the holding of the session of the ordinary plenary session for the month of November to Wednesday 22, instead of doing it on the 30th as it would correspond.
The decision responded to the need to hold the ordinary plenary session with time given that the deadline for answering the allegations to the 2017 municipal budget ends on November 30, and thus there would not be enough time to expedite the appropriate administrative procedure.
The agenda includes the joint motion of Ganar Totana-IU, PSOE and PP to propose the creation of the institution of the "Defender of Future Generations".
The motion of the Department of Public Safety and Civil Protection to urge the Ministry of Presidency, its General Secretary and General Directorate of Citizen Security and Emergencies for the completion of the appropriate procedures regarding the payment of the amount of 10,000 euros to the City Council will also be discussed. of Totana in accordance with the collaboration agreement drawn up for this purpose, to subsidize the acquisition of an ambulance for the civil protection service of Totana.
Motions of political groups
The motions of the Popular Group will be discussed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Spanish Constitution and to condemn acts of violence and vandalism against the works of the AVE in Murcia.
Another motion of the PP refers to endowing in the budget of 2018 a larger budget to be able to comply with the application for the Declaration of National Tourist Interest for the Holy Week of Totana.
In addition, the motions of the Socialist Group on the reversion of the surplus and to regulate adequately the figure of the vulnerable consumer of Royal Decree 897/2017, of October 6, will be addressed.
Finally, the motion of the non-attached councilor on the review of several budgetary items is included in the agenda.
