The Association of Relatives and Affected Lipodystrophies (AELIP) has extended until November 17 the deadline to participate in the I Contest of Photography "Living with a lipodystrophy", which has been organized with the intention of giving visibility to these pathologiesas well as know the reality of many of those affected who today suffer from this disease cataloged as rare.
All the people affected by a lipodystrophy, relatives, professionals or amateurs can participate in this photo contest. Two modalities are established, one of them of free theme, for those images freely understood by its author and that have as reference any aspect related to lipodystrophies .
The other modality, under the title of "Living with a Lipodistrofia", is directed to those images where you can appreciate the day to day of a person who lives with this pathology.
The images must be original and unpublished, in color and they must be submitted in digital format via e-mail to the address info@aelip.org together with Annex 1 that appears in the bases duly completed.
Each participant can present up to a maximum of three photographs.
The deadline for submission will be November 17, 2017 and the jury's decision will be made public on the 21st of this month.
The organization has established two modalities of award, so that there will be a winning photograph, whose author will receive free assistance to the V International Symposium of Lipodystrophies to be held later this month of November in Murcia, free accommodation and full board during the course of the same.
In addition, a selection of photographs will be made so that only a total of 50 photographs of all the applications received will be displayed, which as a prize will be those that will appear in said exhibition.
