Three silver and one bronze medals have been won by the Club Totana TM players in the Zonal Tournament that took place this weekend at the Municipal Sports Center of San Javier where more than 300 players from Extremadura, Andalusia and Murcia have participated.
Ten and seven totaneros participated in this tournament.
Three finalists managed to get the club but none of them could win the gold.
Gabriel Sanchez in the category alevín, Pedro Miguel Ruiz in the category of Veterans 40 and Domingo Mendez in the 50 could not win their rivals in the three finals in which they managed to get.
In addition very good positions achieved by Juan Pedro Sánchez, who was fourth and bronze medal in his first year of Juvenile and the sixth places achieved by Vicente Carreño in Veterans 40 and Pedro Montes in the Absolute category.
All of them (six in total) have managed to qualify with a direct place for the State Tournament having entered the top 9 of their category in this Zonal Tournament.
Also highlight the performances of Pepe Carreño who in the end was ranked 11. The same position in which Alejandro López was in the children's category.
In the 10th place was Santiago Méndez in Juveniles that was one step away from his classification that escaped him in the last game.
In Sub 23 Julián Méndez he finished in 13th position. All of them have achieved a good score in the ranking and will be able to fight for one of the play-offs in the national tournament that will take place in Guadalajara the next 7 to 9 days. December.
Also participating were Juan Tejedor and Cayetano Rodríguez, Andrés David Ros in U23 and Santiago Aledo and Julián Cerón in veterans 40.

After the break for the dispute of the Zonal tournaments the leagues return next weekend.
In group 9 of the 2nd National Totana TM will play at home, in the Pavilion Manolo Ibáñez, on Saturday afternoon at 17:00 to the team of Cortijo La Matanza La Zubia.
Interesting match against one of the teams at the top of the table.
In group 8 the Totana Promises will also have their match at home and also against one of the rivals at the top of the standings.
The rival will be Burjassot-Valencia and the match will be on Sunday 5 at 10 in the morning.
In 3rd National Totana B will play away from home on Saturday afternoon in front of the GESCO Asesores of El Palmar and in the Autonomous DH the team of the Totana Club will receive at home the branch of Eliocroca de Lorca on Saturday morning.
