The ordinary plenary session of the City Council of Totana for the month of September will take up again on Thursday, the 28th day, starting at 20.00 hours, the new 2017/18 political course with a total of 22 points on the agenda, of these are matters related to the Department of Finance and motions of the different political groups that make up the Municipal Corporation.
The agenda includes a proposal by the Mayor to extend the deadline for actions on the Increase of Value of Urban Land Agreements agreed at the plenary on March 29 this year, as well as the final approval of several accounting records.
Also to be discussed is the proposal to nominate a street or public building in Totana to Juan Quiñonero Gálvez and Luz Martínez Pérez.
In addition, it will treat the motion of the Councilor of Sports to declare Totana as a City Free from Violence in Sport.
Municipal political groups
The corporative will debate the motions of the Popular Group on support of the City Council to the regional government in the subsistence of the arruí in Sierra Espuña, and another one of support to the regional Government in its claims to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing, Food and Environment so that they do not apply water tariffs until there are no transfers.
Other motions of the PP refer to the application for the start-up of the operation of the bar-cafeteria service of the municipal park of Totana, to request the Ministry to update the prices of the fixed assets of the municipal company Proinvitosa (parcels, solar, housing, etc.) at the current market value;
and so that next October 12, coinciding with the Day of Hispanity and the feast of the Virgin of Pilar, celebrate in Totana a tribute to the flag of Spain and its territorial cohesion.
The Socialist Municipal Group has raised two motions to the ordinary plenary to request the Ministry of Finance to finance 50% of the fees that the City for the Fire Extinguishing Consortium due to the serious economic situation that our town suffers and to make a popular consultation that determines the local festivities of the municipality.
Also included are several motions of the Ganar Totana-IU Group against the proposal of the regional government to implement the "Tauromachy and Auxiliary Activities" PF module, known as the "Taurina FP";
urge the regional government to maintain the installation of the ITV service and guarantee the expected time frames;
and support of the City to the demands of the neighbors of the neighborhoods of the South of Murcia against the barrier of the AVE and against the repression of the demonstrators.
Lastly, there will be a debate on two motions of Ganar Totana-IU to demand a solution to the emergency situation of the 3,978 dependents who are not receiving any kind of aid in the Region of Murcia;
and rejection of the City Council to the practice of "fracking" in the Region.
