The mayor of Totana, Andrés García, received this morning the councilor of the City of Reus (Tarragona), Ana Isabel Martinez Serrano, whose father is a native of Totana and is spending a few days vacation in the Region of Murcia.
The totanero regidor has met with the Catalan mayor this morning in his office, with whom he has discussed some issues of general interest, such as the current situation in Catalonia,
and has reviewed the origins of his family in Totana, who emigrated in the fifties.
The councilor of Reus belongs to the Municipal Socialist Group in the Reusense Consistory, which is currently in the opposition;
and has wanted to know firsthand issues related to the municipal management of Totana.
Both municipal representatives have taken advantage of this institutional meeting to exchange some institutional gifts.
