This Friday, September 29, the play "The Wisdom of the Birds" will be staged in the theater of the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel", financed by the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts of the Region of Murcia (ICA ), according to sources from the Department of Culture.
The ICA awarded the City of Totana financing for the performance of two theatrical shows for the remainder of this year 2017, within the call "Regional Scene Plan", according to the same sources.
The work is presented by "Atomic Theater" and "Ayekluwm Cía";
and funded by the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts of the Region of Murcia (ICA).
The price of the anticipated entrance and box office is 7 euros;
and the sale of tickets is in the Centro Cultural Sociocultural "La Cárcel" of this locality.
This call was directed to the municipalities of the Region of Murcia for the promotion of the performing arts and music in the municipalities, so that the ICA collaborates economically by contributing 50% of the show cache, while 25% is assumed by the City and the other 25% by the professional charged the collection of the box office.
The second play to be held under this aid will be "Cyrano de Bergerac" of the company "Alquibla Teatro", which will take place on December 6 coinciding with the program of cultural activities for the patron saint festivities of Santa Eulalia.
Both shows will be included in the "Totana Cultural" program for the last four months of this year and will take place at the "La Cárcel" Sociocultural Center.
The company "Ayeklauwn" is in charge of the show co-produced in 2015 with Teatro Atómico, winner of the first CreaMurcia 2016 Prize.
The company is on tour with this and other shows, with which they will travel to international theater festivals in Argentina and Chile.
