A total of 16 people from the municipality of Totana have successfully concluded their participation in the Municipal Training Program for Social Inclusion during the first half of 2017, according to sources in the Department of Social Welfare.
This program, launched in 2012 by the City of Totana, aims to promote a training and occupational experience for people with difficulties of social inclusion and scarce economic resources as a means to promote their relationship, participation and social inclusion.
In addition, financial aid is offered in the form of a daily grant - to support the material coverage of their basic needs.
In this sense, the program aims to improve and overcome the merely assistance and economic benefits, enabling participants to obtain experiences, knowledge, skills and skills useful for their relationship and social development and their access to the world of work, encouraging above all Their personal self-esteem.
Users participating in the program have been incorporated during this time in various municipal resources and services of the Councils of Social Welfare and Services to the City, respectively, developed daily tasks of support to professionals and workers of the same for an average time of one month and a half.
The evaluation of both the technicians who manage the program and that of the professionals of the resources where the participants have been incorporated and of these same ones is valued positively.
