This activity is part of the activities promoted during the first half of the year in the framework of the Municipal Drug Addiction Program.

The workshops for the prevention of drug addiction directed to the students of Compulsory Secondary Education, and given by the Municipal Service of Prevention of Drug addiction, have reached about 350 students of the municipality;

While in the workshops aimed at 6th grade students, about 180 schoolchildren participated.

Like all the years, these workshops have been given in the own educational centers by the technician of the Department of Social Welfare.

Secondary school students have mainly addressed issues related to alcohol and cannabis use, as these are the most commonly used drugs among adolescents and the effects of smoking in primary school workshops have been highlighted.

These workshops, which will be resumed in the next course, are intended to provide objective information and adequate training on the consequences of drug use and abuse and the acquisition of sufficient skills, competencies and skills to effectively address the relationship with drugs.

There have also been awareness campaigns against drugs, including the World Tobacco Day campaign.

In the patron saint festivities of Santa Eulalia and Santiago, a campaign of awareness of the sale of alcohol to minors was carried out, together with the Local Police, obtaining very favorable results.

In addition, it is recalled that the Ministry of Health offers an online course addressed to parents for the "Prevention of Alcohol consumption in their children," whose registration is free and can be done at: www.e-drogas.es/cursoargosfamilias .
