Totana's Social Services Center has handled during the first half of this year a total of 252 related to the handling of matters relating to foreigners, according to sources in the Department of Social Welfare.
These people have been given information, guidance and support in carrying out the procedures and formalities necessary to regularize their residence in Spain, return to their country of origin, regroup relatives, regularize minors or obtain specific benefits and resources Related to their status as an immigrant.
The same sources indicate that these services have generated 92 reports, of which 23 have been directed to regularize the residence of these people in our country, 54 have been oriented to requests for family reunification and 15 to renewal of residence permits .
On the other hand, it is reported that, so far this year, no report has been made to favor the return of immigrants to their country of origin.
