Rivals of national leagues for the next season]

In the web of the RFETM has just published the list with the definitive composition of the groups of national leagues for the next season 2,017-2,018.

The Totana Club TM, like last season, will have two teams in the 2nd National Division Totana TM and Totana Promesas that along with the promoted teams of IES El Palmar, CD Murcia and Mazarrón TM will be the five teams in the Region Of Murcia of this category.

The two teams totaneros will be in different groups.

The Totana TM will be in group 9 along with 2 teams from the province of Ciudad Real (Ciudad Real and Miguel Turra), 1 from Almería (Roquetas), 3 from Granada (Huetor Vega, La Zubia and Ciudad de Granada), 1 from Jaén (Linares), 1 from Málaga (Mijas) and 2 from Murcia (Mazarrón and CD Murcia).

Totana Promesas will be in Group 8 and will face the Huntec Club Albacete, 3 teams from Alicante (CTM Aspe, C. Ilicitano and CTM Dama de Elche), 6 from Valencia (Alzira, Paterna, Pobla de Vallbona, Burjassot, Xativa and Valencia) and one of Murcia (El Palmar).

As last season the first classified will have direct promotion to 1st national, second and third will have place to dispute the stage of promotion, the last two will fall of category and the third by the tail will descend or not depending on the other ascents and descensos of category Of its Federation.

A priori the two teams totaneros in the two groups will have to fight to maintain the category.

The rivals of the Totana TM are affordable but homogeneous teams with few weaknesses and already known the majority except the new ones of Mijas.

In this group Roquetas, just descended from 1st National is the favorite and will want to recover the category as soon as possible.

Of the rivals of the Totana Promesas, we can say little, for three seasons the Murcia teams had not been in this group so it will be an unknown, although our youths have the level to be top in the standings.

Another season there will be representation totanera in the national leagues of table tennis.

The final schedule with the dates and times of the meetings will not be known until the beginning of September and the first day of the league will be on Saturday, 30 September.
